Praetorian and Fonzie head off into Twilight, sneaky and not particularly good intentioned. They silently off head towards the home of Spellsong. Upon reaching their destination, Fonzie climbs the roof of the house, crouching above the door way. Fonzie gives him the signal, and Prae begins to bang on the door to Spellsong's home and quickly jumps out of sight. As Spellsong comes to the door, she prepares to kill. Opening the door, she cannot find the pest at her steps. She decides to investigate further. As she steps outside the house, Fonzie pounces off of the roof, striking Spellsong's head with the hilt of his dagger, knocking her unconscious. Prae and Fonzie take this chance to search her lair.

"Remember, our primary target is more important than your love of shiny objects and sharp weapons," Fonzie says. Praetorian nods and the two move swiftly throughout the rooms of the house.

They find nothing in the bedroom and move onto the study. Both search quickly, but calmly opening draws, picking chest locks, and searching for hidden compartments. Suddenly, Prae stumbles upon a strange strongbox, decorated with drawings of Dark Elven armies and battles. After several unsuccessful attempts, he calls over to his partner in crime to try. Fonzie is unable to pick this rather complex lock. He would have to find the key. In the mean time, Prae runs out to reaffirm Spellsong's level of consciousness.

Fonzie continues to search for the key. He begins to examine an odd sculpture of a Dark Elf.. upon fiddling with the item, he finds that the statue is hollow, but emits a rattling sound. He breaks the statue to find a key. He walks over to the small strongbox and uses the strange key to open the box. A grin of satisfaction covers Fonzie's face from ear to ear, finding their target: a ruby necklace and matching ruby bracelet.

He calls out to Praetorian, with no response. Cautiously, Fonzie makes his way throughout Spellsong's abode, calling for Praetorian. He walks to the front door where they left Spellsong and finds Praetorian's body, out cold. "Such loyalty. How nauseating." says a voice from behind Fonzie. Backing up, Fonzie draws his Dagger and circles the area, Spellsong following him step by step, weapon drawn also. The two almost begin to clash, when Praetorian suddenly comes to, pouncing on Spellsong's
back, striking her in the same fashion as Fonzie had done earlier. The end result is the same.

Prae arises, nursing his wound.
"Find the jewels?"
"Yes. Grab any other loot?"
Praetorian unpacks Vesper, a short sword, and hands it to his friend. He then unpacks a dagger called Tinge.
"This, however, is too beautiful to not be mine..."

The two decide not to linger, or loot any further. They head to Lyresong Manor, where Verda awaits them with their pay. A quick and painless exchange takes place. "I shall inform Ringdancer. She gives her regards and asks that I give you this..." Verda hands Fonzie a pouch filled with gold. "Excuse me if I've not the time or will to hang around in one place," Prae says. "But we will be sure to count the gold thoroughly and make sure it was our asking price. Be well."

The two quickly, and silently glide through the shadows, back home to the Rogue's Guild. "I have a feeling...she will call upon us again..."
