The night's hand extends endlessly, consuming and covering all things beneath it's blanket. To those who fear it and what dwells inside, it is ruthless, despairing, terrifying, and unforgiving; but to those who embrace the darnkess, they will find only comfort and resolve. It is during Night's reign that shadows are their darkest, and when the thieves find their greatest weapon; when the most sinister of the imaginations possibilities can take shape just beyond the reach of sight.

Those who choose to serve Night's pillar are expected to devote themselves entirely to its understanding. To wield its power requires the sacrafice and learning of a lifetime. The Night will bless those who serve it, and in turn, it servants will keep its secrets.

Nights Ranks

Devotee of Night
Those who choose to devote themselves to the Night are expected to dwell within its embrace, and to study its secrets and disguises. They are the base of the pillar, and are to speak with the initiates, to see if they have the makings of the darkest path.

Night's Avatar
The rank of Avatar is gifted to no more than two Devotees, who have shown an excellent understanding and skill within the pillar, and are named scholars of the path. When a new priest is needed, one of the Avatars will be chosen to fill the role.

Priest of Night
There is one Priest of the Pillar, who has shown the highest devotion and understanding. Priests are responsible for deciding who will be able to Devote, and which Devotees are ready to become Avatars. When a new Priest must be selected, the Hand will choose from the current Avatars.
